If you are local to the Black Hills Area and you are looking for a training group. We will start a marathon and half marthon training program. All runners and walkers are welcome to join.
This training program is provided as a courtesy of the Mt Rushmore & Crazy Horse Marathon. Be sure to check with a doctor prior to beginning training and proceed at your own risk.

AVAILABLE MARATHON & HALF MARATHON PROGRAMS
Marathon Training (Beginners) - This program assumes you have been running 6 - 20 miles per week. Your goal: to finish a marathon
Marathon Training (Intermediate) - This program assumes you have been running 20-25 miles per week for several years, and that you have completed at least one previous marathon. Your goal: to finish in a specific time
Marathon Training (Advanced) - If you're accustomed to running 35-40 miles a week and are looking to qualify for the Boston marathon, this is the training plan for you
Half Marathon Training (Beginners & Intermediate) - Reduce the mileage by 50% for Beginning and Intermediate Runners.
You must be registered to run the 2008 Mt Rushmore & Crazy Horse Marathon full, half, relay, or 5K to participate in the training program. Register online at AllSportCentral.com or MonumentalChallenge.com.
GROUP RUNS AND SUPPORT:
We will be joining the Black Hills Runner’s Club on their Wednesday (5:30 PM) and weekend long runs. To be notified of the locations for the weekly group runs go to http://www.MonumentalChallenge.com to the Training Section of the Participants Forum under the Highlights section on the front page. We will be coached by local running celebrity Amy Yanni how has run numerous marathons from coast to coast.
