HOST HOTELS: Host Hotels will provide room discounts for participants, event day transportation, event day late check out, and a hospitality room for participants. Only the hotels listed below are classified as Host Hotels and will be catering to the marathon participants.
RESERVATIONS: When making your reservations be sure to specify that you are with the Mt Rushmore Marathon to be eligible for the discounted room rates. To be eligible for the marathon room rate discounts you must also call the front desk of the respective hotel(s) not the general reservations numbers.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: Transportation to/from the airport needs to be scheduled with one of multiple local taxi/shuttle services that you can schedule as you arrive at the airport. We would suggest renting a car to travel between event venues and explore the Black Hills during your trip. You will need to schedule these on your own through the respective.
EVENT DAY TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will only be provided on event day between Host Hotels and Marathon/Half Marathon Start/Finish Areas. Buses will be scheduled to pickup and drop off according to a pre-defined schedule and route that will be available on the event website and provided to you at packet pickup.
